Court interpreter for Dutch.
Certified translations into Dutch by authorised permanent court interpreters — for work, business and education in the Netherlands and Belgium.
Documents we most often certify.
For the Dutch combination, the documents most often certified are employment paperwork, diplomas and business documents. The full certification procedure is described on the certified translations page.
The Netherlands and Belgium.
Certified translations are accepted before authorities in the Netherlands and Belgium (in the Dutch-speaking area). We do not obtain Apostilles and do not determine the order of certifications; please check what is required, and in what order, with the institution receiving the document.
From the gemeente to the notary.
In the Netherlands the first request usually comes from the municipality: registering at the gemeente, marrying, or exchanging a driving licence all call for certified translations of personal documents.
In Flanders the picture is similar, with municipalities, employers and universities asking for certified versions of diplomas, employment records and criminal record certificates.
Notaries and courts follow when property, marriage contracts or company formation are involved. Bilingua arranges Dutch certified translations through court interpreters appointed by the Croatian Ministry of Justice, and since the same document often serves several offices, we are glad to advise which form of certification the Dutch or Belgian institution usually requires.
