area and recognition

Turkey and trade ties.

Certified translations are accepted before Turkish authorities. Turkey is a frequent pair for trade, business and family procedures.

We do not obtain Apostilles and do not determine the order of certifications; please check what is required, and in what order, with the institution receiving the document.

who requests it

Who asks for a certified Turkish translation.

On the Croatian side, requests usually come from the police administration in residence procedures, from registry offices when a marriage or birth in Turkey needs to be recorded, and from commercial courts and notaries when Turkish partners found a company or grant a power of attorney. Each of these bodies expects the interpreter's full certification.

In the opposite direction, Turkish authorities ask for certified translations of Croatian documents in inheritance, family and trade matters.

We prepare the Turkish pair through our network of appointed court interpreters and, because requirements differ between individual offices, we suggest asking the receiving body whether it also expects an Apostille on the original document.

Frequently asked questions

Have any questions?

Bilingua arranges certified translations for the Croatian and Turkish pair through appointed permanent court interpreters. You can send documents by email as scans. The finished translation is certified with the interpreter's seal and signature, bound as a single document, and is valid before courts and administrative bodies.
Yes, in most cases. When you register a marriage concluded in Turkey with a Croatian registry office, the Turkish certificate is submitted together with a certified translation made by an appointed court interpreter. Bilingua arranges these certified Turkish translations. Ask the registry office beforehand whether the original also needs an Apostille, as practice can differ between offices.
Yes. Powers of attorney are among the documents most often certified for the Turkish pair, typically for property, inheritance or company matters in Turkey. Bilingua arranges the certified translation through a court interpreter appointed for Turkish, bound to your document with seal and signature. Confirm with the Turkish notary what additional certification of the original they expect, and we will align the translation with it.
