Court interpreter for Italian.
Certified translations into Italian by appointed permanent court interpreters at Bilingua, a translation office in the Zagreb area, since 1994 — with a seal and signature valid before Italian authorities. From civil-registry records for dual citizenship to documentation for cross-border business with Italy.
Certification with the seal of a permanent court interpreter.
For Italian, we prepare the certified translation through appointed permanent court interpreters — with a seal and signature recognised before courts, municipalities (comune) and public administration bodies in Croatia and Italy. The full certification procedure is described on the court interpreters page.
Civil-registry records, citizenship and business documents.
For the Italian language pair, certification is most often requested for dual citizenship procedures and for doing business with Italy — from civil-registry extracts to registration and contractual documentation.
Italian authorities and cross-border business.
Certified translations are accepted before Italian courts, municipalities and consular authorities. Because of the proximity of Istria and Kvarner, Italian is a common language of cross-border business and family procedures.
We do not obtain Apostilles and do not determine the order of certifications; please check what is required, and in what order, with the institution receiving the document.
When Italian procedures ask for an Apostille.
An Apostille is a certification under the Hague Convention that confirms the authenticity of a public document for use abroad. It relates to the source document, not to the quality of the translation.
Italian consulates and municipalities ask for it in some procedures, dual citizenship applications among them, while for others a certified translation alone is enough.
Requirements differ from one comune and consulate to the next, so check with the receiving office whether it expects an Apostille on your Croatian document before the certified Italian translation is prepared.
Obtaining the Apostille is a step you complete with the competent authority in the country where the document was issued. Once that is settled, we prepare the translation in the right sequence.
